The course looks for signs through which to consolidate the idea of urban identity. The apparent homogeneity of the city overlaps with its simultaneous heterogeneity: a succession of architectural imaginaries, sometimes anchored to ideals from a past that never existed, and others seeking a commitment to the present and the future. Through the photographic record, the generic specificities that build the imaginary of these projects and their identity as metropolitan fragments are documented and catalogued. The construction implies the definition of a precise and common registration logic so that the images are articulated in a superior way. Identified and ordered the components that give identity to a building, we build a DIY, reproduction that integrates them into a single piece image. The objective is the construction of series that, operating as a collection, reconstruct the imaginary of the city as a whole. The research is directed to the production of a metropolitan archive.
